Access: You may request a copy of your personal data held by us within the retention period.
Rectification: Request corrections for any inaccuracies in your personal data.
Erasure: In circumstances where data is no longer relevant or you withdraw consent, you may request the deletion of your personal data.
Restriction: Request a temporary suspension of data processing under certain conditions.
Data Portability: Request a copy of your personal data in a structured and commonly used format where processing is based on consent.
Objection: Object to processing activities based on legitimate interests, (where applicable).
Objection to automated decision making: Request human intervention in instances where personal data is used in automated decisions (where applicable).
Retention Period
The personal data we collect is primarily for recruitment and selection purposes. As such personal data will be retained for three (3) months even if you were unsuccessful, so we can contact you if a position similar to the one you applied for, or a position we think you may be the suitable candidate for, becomes available.
Transborder Data Transfers
There will be transfer of personal data outside Botswana. Where personal data is transferred to our Group office in Kenya, our basis is adequacy. Otherwise we will rely on appropriate safeguards and/or derogations.
